    1. Press Windows key + R.
    2. Type ‘useraccountcontrolsettings’.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Now move the slider bar to Never notify.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Click yes when prompted and then restart the computer.

    Option 3: Restart pervasive

    1. Press Windows Key + R.
    2. Now type ‘services.msc’.
    3. Press OK.
    4. Right click on the Pervasive PSQL Workgroup Engine and select Restart.
    5. Now double click on the Pervasive PSQL Workgroup Engine and select the Recovery tab.
    6. Select Restart the Service in the First failure and Second failure drop down boxes.
    7. Set the Reset Fail Count to reset after 1 day.
    8. Click OK to complete the process.
    9. Now check if Sage 50 opens without error.

    Option 4: Run the program as Administrator

    1. Right click on the Sage 50 icon and select
    2. Click on the Compatibility
    3. Select Run as administrator.
