How to manually install Pervasive

    Note: It is highly recommended to install Pervasive using the Database Repair Utility,

    Solution I: Releases 2014 and above

    1. Browse to the location of the Sage 50 installation files and double-click PervasiveMin,
    2. Double-click PervasivePSQLv11WGE_x86.msi
    3. Select Next
    4. Accept the license agreement, and then select Next
    5. Select Run as a Service, and then select Next
    6. Select Complete, and then select Next
    7. Select Install
    8. Select Finish

    Solution II: Releases 2011 through 2013

    1. Browse to the location of the Sage 50—U.S. Edition installation files and double-click PervasiveMin,

    Note: If installing from a disk, open the disk, and then open PervasiveMin. Remove any disks or removable drives that do not contain the Sage 50 installation files during the Pervasive installation.

    1. Double-click PervasivePSQLv10WGE_x86.msi
    2. Select Next
    3. Accept the license agreement, and then select Next
    4. Select Run as a Service (Recommended for Terminal Services systems), and then select Next
    5. Select Complete, and then select Next
    6. Select Install
    7. When the installation completes, click Finish
    8. Leaving PervasiveMin open, press Windows+R keys
    9. Enter Services.msc, and then click OK
    10. Right-click Pervasive PSQL Workgroup Engine, select Stop, and then close the window
    11. In PervasiveMIN, open the v10_Patch folder
    12. Press Ctrl+A keys, and then press Ctrl+C keys to copy all files
    13. Browse to:
      • 32-Bit Windows – C:\Program Files\Pervasive Software\PSQL\bin
      • 64-Bit Windows – C:\Program Files (x86)\Pervasive Software\PSQL\bin
    14. Press Ctrl+V keys, when prompted to overwrite files, select Yes
    15. When it finishes pasting, open SupportFiles folder
    16. Double-click Pervasive_Patch_32_1.reg
    17. Select Yes, and then click OK
    18. Double-click Pervasive_Patch_32_2.reg
    19. Select Yes, and then click OK
    20. Press Windows+R keys
    21. Enter Services.msc, and then click OK
    22. Right-click Pervasive PSQL Workgroup Engine, select Start, and then close the window when the process completes
