Note:  Sage Exchange is a PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant online application that is used by Sage Payment Solutions to handle credit card information and allow the processing of credit card transactions through Sage 50—U.S. Edition. It is a required component in order to process credit card transactions from within Sage 50. If you need to uninstall or reinstall Sage Exchange, follow these steps:

    Uninstall Sage Exchange:

    1. Go to Windows Start, then Control Panel.
    2. Select Programs and Features.

    2. Click the link Install Sage Exchange Desktop at the bottom of the webpage.
    3. Select Downloads at the top of the next webpage and select Sage Exchange Desktop v2.X for 2017.   For the 2016.2 version, select Sage Exchange Desktop v1.x.
    4. Click Download Installer for the appropriate Desktop version, check I have read and understood the Sage Exchange Desktop End User License Agreement and press Download.
