How do I cancel my Online Backup account?
If you have the free version of Online Backup and wish to cancel or discontinue use of the program uninstall the Connected Backup PC Agent from your computer. No further action is required.
All supported paid Online Backup accounts must be cancelled by the NetSuite Billing Management system. For instructions of how to cancel your Online Backup account follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the website listed in the Additional Information section below.
- Login with your NetSuite Billing Management username and password.
Note: Online Backup Account Management and NetSuite Billing Management accounts are two separate accounts.
- Click Cancel Account.
- Select the account to cancel, select a reason, and click Submit.
- On the next screen it will confirm the account has been canceled.
Note: If there is any unused time on the Online Backup plan, the system will generate a pro-rated refund and display this refund on this screen. This refund will not show anywhere else, if you would like a copy for your records, please print this screen.
Note: If you have a billing dispute regarding the pro-rated refund, please contact HP / Autonomy at email@example.com. Please include the Online Backup account number in the subject of your email.
- Uninstall Connected Backup PC Agent from your computer.
